Jes Parent

Jes founded Bridgecraft Advisory after nearly two decades working across research institutions, technology organizations, startups, and nonprofits. His career has spanned healthcare R&D and HIPAA-compliant technology development, academic research strategy, innovation program design, and organizational leadership.

He holds an MS in Data Science from UC San Diego and has worked with and presented at institutions including MIT, Harvard, Princeton, and the Oxford Internet Institute. He brings a rare combination of technical depth and strategic breadth: fluent in data science and AI, experienced in building and running organizations, and deeply connected to the innovation ecosystems where new ideas become real.

Before founding Bridgecraft, Jes built and led programs at the intersection of research and technology, including work in bioinformatics, medical device development, and research program operations. He has designed admissions funnels, curricula, and monitoring and evaluation systems; set up operational infrastructure using platforms like Airtable, Notion, and Asana; and mentored early-career researchers and technologists.

He also founded JOPRO, a nonprofit research incubation initiative that coordinates researchers, builders, and practitioners working to modernize how knowledge is generated and applied. Through JOPRO's working groups in Futures & Foresight, Cognition, and Society Ethics Technology, he stays connected to the cutting edge of research and innovation.

Jes believes the consulting industry is overdue for change. Too many organizations pay for strategy that never gets implemented, frameworks that don't fit their context, or advice from people who have never done the work themselves. Bridgecraft exists to provide a better alternative: senior-level strategic thinking, practical technology fluency, and a commitment to outcomes over outputs.
